Garbad’s Mini Review of the New Light Tank Changes
Crunchez vos adresses URL. Aide Se souvenir de moi? Un tiger anglais. Quelques informations de plus sur le nouveau matchmaking:. It does affect the gameplay and can change the perception of the entire game. Additional match-making requirements that are already live on RU servers and pending implementation worldwide are the following: 5 SPGs per team is a so called semi-hard cap which means 5 is maximum number of SPGs per team if the battle is created correctly, ie without any errors. The prerequisites for that are relatively high CCU that’s why might be somewhat hard for NA server and no particular imbalance or disproportion between vehicle classes in waiting queue. In addtion to the above the SPG-cap for high tier battles is floating and varies from 2 to 5 arty units per team. Simplifying things, battles are created by the server in succession with different SPG limits: 2, 3, 4, 5, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc For lower tiers the limits are a bit different and depend on the average SPG percentage for that particular battle tier. The cap mechanics was chosen taking into account possible increase of waiting time.
“Stock” light tanks(not necessarily) preferential matchmaking?
Jump to content. I am tired of people whining about random matchmaking while playing Random mode. It indeed does mean that sometimes you meet enemy teams that are much better and more experienced than you are. And of course you never complain about meeting too easy enemy teams. If Random is a problem, go play Rating battles.
We have excellent news, commanders! In the upcoming update , you will be able to exchange your M41 Bulldog for any common vehicle from your garage!

Many new players are in for a rude shock when they first stumble upon a dedicated scout vehicle around tier IV, suddenly having to face enemies four tiers higer. With the recent spg rebalancing in version 8. But this left the scouts in an even more unhappy situation. Now the scout players where the only ones left with the large tier spread that scared new recruits off.
But good scouts tanks and players are often the difference between win and loss — they are needed.

Jump to content. I just grinded the tier 6 french light AMX blah blah and i didn’t have the free experience to research the top autoloader immediately. After 10 or so games I finally had the experience to reserach the gun and immediately after I got put into a tier 7 game. I realised something similar with my M41 Walker Bulldog. I used to play the “top gun”, single shot on my Bulldog and always get put into tier 8 battles. But after I mounted the “slightly stock” autoloader I haven’t been in tier 8 battles.
Is it game mechanics that you get preferential matchmaking when you mount stock light tank guns not necessarily or is it just luck? Only accepts plats. Those that need help in grinding or wants to do stupid stuff, invite me. Community Forum Software by IP. Please log in to reply.
Advice for 2 and possible 3 marks on M41 bulldog
This made the T41E1 one of the first American tanks to be designed around a preexisting engine type, rather than being built first and then adopting a suitable engine. The Army placed orders for the T41 circa August Truman at Aberdeen Proving Ground in February The plant, employing , delivered the first production M41 Walker Bulldog in March Lawton Collins, then Army Chief of Staff, successfully argued for the existing purchase orders to be filled.
And here comes the M41 bulldog retaining its 10 clip mag and with it’s M41 sees same matchmaking as it does on live server so I don’t.
Easy gun handling, sloped armor, decent view range and other small stats earned American vehicles a name for being flexible and easy-to-use. No other Tech Tree fields vehicles as original and versatile as the M41 Bulldog and T49 in just one branch. By the way, we heard a great deal of feedback on these two during the test. Based on your input, we decided to keep their trademark features—autoloader and gun-launcher—moving forward.
Let’s go! Thanks to its explosive combination of speed, manoeuvrability, and firepower, the M24 Chaffee Tier V can fly around the battlefield, be where it needs to be, relocate in ways other light tanks could only dream of, and punch above its weight. An excellent view range and camo make it equally great at passive and active scouting. Plus, we reworked its combat parameters to better suit the revised tier spread, while also keeping its gameplay-defining characteristics intact.
Swift and small, the M7 has always played as a light tank disguised as a medium. As a starter pack of sorts, it received a traditional light tank setup of a high camo rating, a more powerful engine to get to key positions on the map, and nicer gun parameters: considerably improved accuracy and shorter aim time. The rate of fire decreased to balance these improvements. Following the rebalance, it retains its extreme maneuverability and will make a great scout and support fire, capable of supporting the push by sniping then distracting the enemy to help the team make offensive breakthroughs.
Updated stats for the M41 Walker-Bulldog as it makes its transition to Tier 8. Note, it will no longer have its autoloader gun at Tier 8. The autoloader is technically a stock configuration, might still be there just not shown since wargaming considers the non autoloader as the fully upgraded gun in the current version, not a bad gun just a lot of people like big clips rather than using 10 degrees of gun depression and laser accuracy.

Jump to content. The AMX 13 only has 3 clips with alpha damage and is not gonna cut it off in a dog fight with other T10 light tanks as it will only deal ave damage in 32 seconds and what’s worse is the fact that every other T10 LT has or HP. Is that even balanced? The AMX 13 90 and the new B-C 12 t also has the same problem but what I’m really annoyed at is the fact that they totally left the american LT autoloaders intact.
The T71 retains its 6 clips and ave damage and it can kill all LT of the same tier. And here comes the M41 bulldog retaining its 10 clip mag and with it’s ave damage it can totally kill all T8 – 9 LTs If done right. So my proposal? Make shell fly wide more, and let RNG control that. It’s a light tank, not a MT or a HT
The French LT line needs a buff
Patch 9. Although most of these changes look very bad, I thought it would be worth playing each tank with no bias, ignoring the numbers, just to see how they felt in actual gameplay. Donations are welcome, especially credits. Its awful gun handling left it much worse than some of the other t8 lights, including the TL.
